From an early age, connected to music, Paulo Ascenso joined the Symphonic Orchestra of Juncal at the age of four, where he received theoretical and practical musical training in wind instruments (Flute and Melodica).
Then his musical irreverence overcame the teacher's teachings, walking paths beyond those proposed. A fact that led him to temporarily retire until he was 16, where he resumed a path of self-education, putting aside most of the knowledge acquired, in an attempt to 'discover new paths and new unexplored sonorities'.
Practice / technique he still use in these days.
It is this technique that tries to convey to the new forms of expression, be it at the level of design, video creation or composition of pictures, where it tries to maintain 'a controlled chaos, that does not spread in any repetitive stereotype'.
'Update and learn new guidelines' are the watchwords.

Photography also comes early, in a circle that has always accompanied the development of analogue to the digital age.
Already in the digital age, he began to manipulate images that he captured through image editing software, where he explored new forms of photographic expression. A strand that gained more meaning from 2014 after having entered in a process of photography techniques that opened him new horizons.
With new acquired knowledge, another chapter ready to discover!
